Opening hours

The museum and the museum café are open during events and during the summer season.

Summer season 2024, starting Monday 10 June and ending Sunday 18 August:

  • Mon – Wed: open from 12.00-16.00 hours for coffee/drinks and pastries
  • Thu and Fri: closed
  • Sat and Sun: open from 12.00-16.00 hours for coffee/drinks and pastries, as well as the traditional lunch buffet of “motti och fläsk”.

Outside of the summer season and public events, you can visit us by appointment only. There is usually staff available at the museum on weekdays.

Prices and guided visits

Visit the houses and collections on your own – SEK 25 per person, information booklet SEK 25. Please pay at the museum café.

Guided visit of the museum (duration about 1,5 hour) – SEK 50 per person

Guided visits in English or German are available by appointment. Groups must book their visit in advance. Group leaders and bus drivers get free entry.

Access

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet. The museum café is accessible with wheelchair ramps. The other houses are partly accessible for wheelchairs and the terrain is slightly hilly. In general, visitors should remember that this is a museum with historic buildings which do not always offer modern standards.

Parking

There is enough parking space for cars and buses at the entrance of the museum.
